Also to note- no animal was killed for this class. Sue gets her animals from a variety of places, including pet stores which would have just thrown the animal away.

Grit N Glory

I was recently invited to draw live during an event for the rock-and-roll boutique Grit N Glory, recently opened in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. I was extremely honored to be involved with the event, but it was also a little daunting trying to figure out what to draw on a 9-foot-tall chalkboard.
In the end, I decided you that when you go with skulls, you can't lose.

A piece that I did for my old roommate Chi awhile back, and recently featured in the "Dreams Were Made For Mortals III" exhibition. I personally couldn't care less about sports, but I guess the Cryptkeeper was a Mets fan.

Degenerate Craft Fair

Over the past few months, I have gotten more and more involved with Carrier Pigeon Magazine. I recently was honored with the position of event and exhibition coordinator for the magazine, and it's been an exciting task to play out. Here's a picture of me and one of my co-workers at the recent Degenerate Craft Fair, in downtown Manhattan.

Carrier Pigeon 1st Anniversary

There's been a lot that's happened since the last post, including me beginning to work for Carrier Pigeon magazine. I'm going to try to keep up the posts on here more consistent as time passes.
But anyway, it's already been a year in print for Carrier Pigeon! Come celebrate with us at our upcoming exhibition in the 20/20 Gallery.

I recently found out that my etching Patriot Pigeon won first place in a contest for the printmaking magazine Carrier Pigeon. The magazine has a beautiful collection of artists, and I'm very excited to have a part in it.
